This project involved the restoration of 6000 sq.ft. of the first floor to create office space that accommodates a number of teams witing administration and management. The overriding principle of the project was to implement the Universities “New Ways of Working” policy with exemplifies flexible working in a way that creates a more compact, sustainable but higher quality working environment.
It reflects a current, mobile approach to work with spaces specially designed for collaboration, teams calls, quiet working etc, while restoring an under-used yet important part of the university.
The project was shortlisted for an award at the Learning Places Scotland Awards, 2024.
